For our office in Amsterdam, we’re looking for a Junior Royalty Administrator. This is someone who will maintain and improve the royalty function and who will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the royalty accounts.

Description

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for continually updating the database to reflect changes in the contract, payment information and sales or performance data. You will review the artist’s contract to determine royalty obligations, and will upload that information into our electronic database. You will keep up with the processing of recoupable costs and you will support our Finance Team in ad hoc royalty tasks.

After reviewing all relevant information with the Royalty Manager and receiving approval, the JR Royalty Administrator releases payment and royalty statements to the artist. Based on the schedule established by the Manager, the administrator will prepare regular reports detailing trends in sales royalty payment and status reports regarding each signed artist. You must regularly audit the sales numbers collected for accuracy, and prepare accounting statements to reflect the information collected.

Requirements

• High mathematical standard and excellent excel skills are essential
• Organised and methodical with good attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines and work under own initiative
• Speak English fluently (Dutch is a plus)!
• Positive, motivated and inspired team player
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• You preferably live in or near Amsterdam
• Full time availability (40 hours per week)
