Wide Awake is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our growing team! You will be responsible for monitoring and posting on blogs and social networks, participating in online outreach and promotion and optimizing our social media accounts. Description

You will play a vital role in executing company-wide marketing initiatives to generate a larger customer base, build brand awareness and execute strategic campaigns. You will create content for digital and social platforms, and you’ll assist in email marketing.

The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Tik Tok and Facebook. You will contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns, monitor social media channels and proactively report on industry trends.

Requirements

• Proficient in Content Sourcing and Creation
• Strong Understanding of Social Media
• A Strong Personal Brand
• Access to your own laptop and smartphone, Apple is a plus
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and research skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• You preferably live in or near Amsterdam
• Speak English fluently (Dutch is a plus)!
• Full time availability (40 hours per week)
