We’re looking for someone to strengthen our Finance Team! As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the accounting and record keeping of the organization. It’s a broad, hands-on but also business facing role - perfect to make your own!

Description

As a Financial Controller working for Wide Awake, you’ll ensure that all accounting allocations are appropriately made and documented. Additional responsibilities will be: preparing quarterly forecasts (including monthly re-forecasts and annual budgets), leading monthly review meetings with Operational Managers, ensuring that the ledgers accurately reflect money coming in and out of the company and analyzing/interpreting the organization's accounting and financial records. In essence - you’ll be responsible for the financial and regulatory compliance of the company.

Also, you’ll be working closely with our Finance team. You’ll be tasked with ensuring accuracy and improving efficiency. We’re looking for a Controller who has both keen attention to detail and has the bigger picture in mind.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant
• Speak English fluently (Dutch is a plus)!
• Hands on, problem solving mindset
• Understanding of Royalties
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• You preferably live in or near Amsterdam
• Full time availability (40 hours per week)
